Day, night and weather alter mechanics: rain weakens fire and bowstrings, fog limits vision to three steps, snow slows beasts and storms strike. Elite monsters carry stacking traits such as speed, fire affinity, summoning, regeneration, armor or vampirism. Loot drops in five rarities with randomized properties, plus 26 unique items each tied to its own story. Gear appears visually across twelve slots, and six weapon types are available. Crafting involves seven artisans and 45 recipes, with gems socketed into equipment. A star-shaped skill tree offers five attributes and 28 skills across five branches, with previews before allocation. Reputation with ten factions shifts prices, access and dialogue, and many conflicts resolve through conversation rather than force. Five distinct endings each include a unique epilogue, alongside a free-life option that allows continued play after the main events conclude. Character creation lets players select hairstyle, colors, skin tone, outfit and name, with all text adapting to chosen pronouns. Four difficulty settings are available, one of which enforces permadeath by erasing the save upon death.
Exploration and Progression
Generated dungeons ensure no two runs feel identical, complete with fog of war that reveals the map as players advance into mines, an underground city and deeper layers. A map draws itself during exploration. Faction reputation and personal choices determine allies and regional outcomes, often favoring non-violent resolutions.
