Parallel-Weirdo is a black-and-white manga-style visual novel game set in a high school, adapted from the manga series Parallel(诡闻斋）.
The story takes place at Di Yingling High School, where the protagonist, Wang Zhe, is a boy with great ambitions but ordinary looks and a troubled family background.
He earned a spot at this elite school with his excellent grades, determined to complete his "grand" research project.
However, surrounded by talented peers and dazzling girls, can he maintain his composure?
How will he choose between love and career, or can he have both? Can this bookworm stand out in the fierce competition?
Through your choices, help him achieve a "nobody's rise"!
Players who have experienced the previous two games will recognize some familiar faces since everyone is in the same school.
Includes 4 major chapters, each with interesting story developments and challenges.
Over 100,000 words of rich script, providing a deep story experience.
4-8 hours of single playthrough, ideal for immersive short-term gameplay.
More than 20 main characters, each with unique personalities and backstories.
Multiple girls to pursue, each with different story routes and endings.
4 main endings and 2 hidden endings, offering diverse game experiences.
Over 100 choices, each affecting the story's development and ending.
More than 400 exquisite manga panels, enhance visual enjoyment.
12 BGM tracks, including 6 new compositions, enhancing the game's atmosphere.
Compared to most visual novel games, the Parallel series extensively uses manga panels to carry the narrative instead of relying on narration and descriptive text.
By perfectly integrating the essence of manga with traditional visual novel games, it provides players with a stronger visual experience and complete immersion in the exciting story.
Each choice in the game brings different branches and butterfly effects, allowing players to enjoy the fun of personally advancing the story.
We believe that this unique approach makes the integration of game and manga narrative more appealing, providing players with a brand-new gaming experience.
CASCHA GAMES is composed of Cascha and Joey (the author of the Parallel (诡闻斋）manga series).
We hope to present bizarre yet realistic stories that could happen around us from an objective and rational perspective, leaving it to the players to make their own judgments.
As a niche game type, we sincerely look forward to more players who love the Parallel-Weirdo series joining our community (QQ group and DISCORD channel), helping us continuously improve and develop this series. We will actively listen to your opinions and suggestions and interact with you. May our joint efforts make the Parallel series a modern classic like “Strange Tales of Liaozhai”.
We also hope to have volunteer players help us proofread more localized translations in languages such as Japanese, Korean, English, and others, allowing players from more regions to experience the charm of the Parallel series.
