Void and Fighter is an action RPG that combines rogue-lite runs with loot-grind progression on PC. Players battle through varied levels filled with enemies, collecting gear and building power over repeated attempts to tackle greater challenges.
Gameplay
The core loop centers on combat runs where fighters level up, gather powerful equipment, and develop skills. Each attempt involves fighting through stages, mixing abilities in creative ways, and pushing difficulty higher for improved rewards. Weapons can be customized for both hands, allowing flexible loadouts that suit different play styles.
Skills form the heart of customization. Players learn new abilities, upgrade them along branching paths, and socket gems to enhance effects. This system encourages experimentation, as combinations create unique setups that feel fresh across multiple runs. Passives add further depth to character builds, supporting long-term growth beyond individual attempts.
Progression extends beyond single sessions. Unlocking additional classes opens new options for how runs unfold, while gear and gems provide tangible power increases. The design keeps every loot-focused excursion distinct through enemy variety and level layouts.
Game Modes
Void and Fighter emphasizes a primary progression system built around repeated runs against escalating threats. Players advance through stages, adapting builds on the fly to survive and thrive. The structure supports solo play focused on personal improvement and discovery.
Custom difficulty settings introduce risk-reward choices. Increasing the challenge level yields better loot and stronger progression incentives, letting players tailor the experience to their preferred intensity. This flexibility shapes how runs unfold without altering the fundamental combat and collection focus.
Progression and Customization
Character development spans multiple layers. Classes unlock gradually, each offering distinct starting points for skill and weapon choices. Gems and passives layer on top, creating layered builds that reward careful planning and adaptation during runs.
Gear acquisition drives the loot-grind element. Powerful items drop from battles, feeding into stronger setups for future attempts. Skill mixing adds replay value, as different combinations alter combat flow and strategy against the same enemies.
Is It Worth Playing?
Void and Fighter suits players who enjoy action RPGs with rogue-lite structure and steady loot progression. The emphasis on skill mixing, gem enhancements, and class unlocks provides meaningful variety across runs. Custom difficulty options allow adjustment for different experience levels, balancing challenge with reward potential.
Those drawn to deep character building and repeated attempts at higher difficulties will find the systems align with that preference. The blend of genres creates a focused loop centered on combat, collection, and incremental power gains on PC.
