The secret of Timberland features a variety of game-based interactions to increase the level of storytelling, such as:

- Mythology – many of the actions and creatures in the novel are taken from Western European mythology. Thanks to this, you will be able to learn a lot about an unknown culture, rituals and about the ancient evil that is fraught with Western European mythology

- User Choices - take control of Kira’s fate. You get to make important decisions about characters’ relationships, actions, and more. Be careful not to pick a wrong choice- everyone’s lives could be destroyed.
