Your candle, flashlight, lantern, and other light sources can help you explore abandoned houses, dark paths, and hidden corners of the village. But every source of light also makes you easier to notice.

Some areas of the village are affected by generators and power systems.
Restoring power can change how a location feels. A dark house may become easier to explore. A path that once felt impossible to read may become clearer. A dangerous area may suddenly feel safer.

Light can reveal useful items, hidden routes, and important details, but it can also change the atmosphere around you. A powered area may feel comforting for a moment, until you realize that the darkness outside still surrounds you.

The game is inspired by old-school survival horror design, where the player is not supposed to feel powerful all the time.
You will explore abandoned buildings, search for useful items, manage limited resources, and decide when to fight, when to save ammunition, and when to run.

Resources are limited.
Panic can get you killed.
Melee combat rewards timing and patience. If you watch enemy movements carefully, you can survive without wasting precious supplies. If you attack blindly, death can come quickly.
