Three Weeks to the Run-Off
Finlay Baird came to Florianopolis as the Institute’s tech analyst on an international observer mission, expecting long days, careful procedures, and a quiet, professional run-up to Brazil’s presidential run-off. Then a late-night question from a hungry reporter turns into a clipped viral soundbite—by morning, his face is on eight hundred shirts, and half the island thinks they know exactly what he meant.
With the clock ticking, Finlay is pulled into three very different romances—each with its own cost. Choose one route and decide what, and who, he is really here for.
Meet the Cast
Cristiane Vogel — The Keeper of the Machines
Cristiane runs the regional machine depot across the bridge: thousands of units, endless procedure, and one name the internet has decided to blame. Warm, clever, and quietly formidable, she offers Finlay access, mentorship, and trust given off the record.
Maiara Silveira — The Surfer Who Printed the Shirts
Maiara is a surf instructor, live-streaming volunteer organiser, and island local with a grin as sharp as her instincts—especially when a foreign expert shows up with an inconveniently honest mouth. She wants him on camera, wants answers she can repeat, and wants him brave enough to stand next to her when her side turns hostile.
Femke de Graaf — The Chief Observer
Femke is the mission’s leader: Dutch-direct, dryly funny, and built from competence and forward motion—fourteen missions, one suitcase, no time for mess. She is also Finlay’s ex-wife, divorced eight months, and still the person who knows him best—whether she admits it or not.
Key Features
- Three heroine routes, one decisive choice: Commit to one romance path with a distinct ending.
- A tense modern setting with a romantic core: International observers, press pressure, public scrutiny, and a run-off countdown shape every scene.
- Dialogue-forward character writing: Three separated voices—Maiara’s rapid-fire questions, Cristiane’s slow echoing precision, and Femke’s dry logistics and numbered points.
- Recurring motifs: From an AINDA NAO T-shirt to an empty fridge shelf, small details recur across the routes.
