You are a black stick figure in a city drawn with pale grey surfaces and heavy ink lines. It has markets, cafés, rooftop gardens, railways, rivers and a few hundred people enjoying an ordinary day — right up until something goes wrong.
And it does. Constantly.
Stick Hero is an open-world superhero game about movement, destruction and being genuinely useful to the people who live here.
Move like you mean it
Traversal comes first. Every rooftop is a launchpad.
- Flight with drain-and-recharge energy, boosted sprint and mid-air dashes
- Grapple and swing between buildings, reel yourself in, build momentum and launch out of the arc
- Climb and wall-run across any surface, jump away or slide straight into a ground slam
- Charged super jumps that clear entire city blocks
Fly fast enough and you stop going around buildings.

A city that actually breaks
The world is built from modular pieces on a grid, making destruction real rather than decorative. Punch a hole in a façade and you will see the concrete sections and rebar inside. Knock out enough of a building’s ground floor and the structure collapses in on itself, storey by storey, filling the street with dust.
- Cars, bins, crates and benches shatter into physical pieces
- Fuel spills can ignite, gas leaks can find a flame and explosions leave craters you can climb out of
- Broken water pipes spray across the streets and put fires out
- Exposed rooms contain furniture you can lift, carry and throw
- City Restore rebuilds damaged blocks when things go too far
Fight with your hands — and everything else
Use four-hit light attack chains that branch into heavy finishers. Counter attacks, dodge incoming strikes and fill your Focus meter by varying your moves.
Grab an enemy, charge your throw and send them through a wall in a spray of black ink. Lift a car at full strength and use that instead.
Then there is the Black Market: eleven purchasable powers, including Gravity Well, Laser Eyes, Twister, Faultline, Meteor Crash, Rocket Strap and Pocket Singularity — a power that eats the street beneath it.
There are twenty-nine power actions in total, and every one can be rebound.
Two cities. Endless trouble.
Stillwater is the story city. Explore fountain plazas, Old Town markets, a cathedral, a clock tower, a hilltop citadel, river bridges and industrial yards.
It is home to the six-chapter campaign, A Bit of a Mess — following a silent hero with an absurdly long to-do list and an investigation into Mr Ink’s mysterious spore pods.
What begins with a stolen bag escalates into three boss fights and one distinctly undignified surrender.
Infinite World is the endless city: a seeded, streaming grid filled with avenues, districts, parks and a waterfront. Enter your own city seed or roll a new one.
Each world keeps its own hero and includes three save slots.

Patrol long enough and the city will find work for you.
- Street trouble — stop muggings, bag thieves, brawls and riots
- Rescues — respond to apartment fires, runaway vans, crane emergencies and blackouts
- Bomb disposal — defuse explosives on the pavement or carry them into the sky and let them go
- Aircraft maydays — catch failing aircraft, hold them steady and release them safely
- Railway chaos — deal with bridge collapses, freight spills and engines that need bracing in eight seconds
- Meteor outbreaks — punch meteors apart mid-fall or throw a car at one
- Catastrophes — face roaming tornadoes, nuclear emergencies and zombie outbreaks spreading from every doorway
- Boss encounters — challenge The Breaker, the armoured Colossus and the ranged Riftcaller
- Quiet favours — deliver water, restock a bookshelf, help a window cleaner or buy someone a hot dog
A town worth protecting
The people of Stillwater follow their own routines. They garden, stock market stalls, open shops, take breaks and head home at night.
They greet each other, ask for directions, read posters and photograph sculptures. Witnesses may wave after you save someone, then return to their ordinary day.
