SHRED A BILLION is a first-person incremental simulation game where players clear a massive vault filled with cash by feeding every bill, bundle, coin, and bar into a central shredder. The core loop centers on collecting physical money objects that pay out directly, then using earnings to buy upgrades that speed up the process and reveal deeper layers of the vault.
Gameplay
Players begin with basic tools and progress through increasingly efficient methods of collection. Early stages rely on grabbing individual bills by hand and carrying them to the shredder. Later tools include a bucket for larger scoops, a shovel for deeper digging, and a vacuum that creates a swirling vortex to pull in money from a distance. Drones provide automation once unlocked, allowing collection to continue even when the player steps away from direct control.
Progression comes from dozens of upgrades that improve tool speed, capacity, and efficiency. A skill tree offers branches tailored to different approaches, such as faster manual collection or stronger automation. Boosts, relics, and gold perks extend the run into higher numbers, scaling earnings from single dollars into the trillions. Every bill functions as a tangible object rather than an abstract counter, which keeps the action grounded in the first-person view.
Game Modes
The game supports solo play focused on personal progression through the vault. Online co-op allows up to four players to share the same mountain of money, with shared progress across the session. Voice and text chat enable coordination on upgrades and tool use while working together on the shared goal of shredding the full billion.
No separate competitive or versus modes exist. The experience stays centered on cooperative collection and incremental advancement whether played alone or with friends.
Progression and Secrets
Reaching the bottom of the initial vault reveals a golden key that unlocks the Golden Reserve. This new area shifts the focus to gold bars and introduces an additional layer of upgrades and collection mechanics. The transition expands the scale without resetting prior progress, encouraging continued play after the main billion-dollar target.
Drone automation keeps resources flowing during breaks, while the skill tree and relic system reward experimentation with different upgrade paths. The 100 achievements track milestones across tools, totals, and co-op sessions.
Is It Worth Playing?
SHRED A BILLION suits players who enjoy incremental games with tangible collection mechanics and steady progression. The first-person perspective and physical object interaction distinguish it from pure number-based idlers, while the co-op option adds a social element for groups that like shared incremental goals. Support for full controller input and adjustable settings broadens accessibility.
The game launches in November 2026 with no prior player data available. Those drawn to cozy simulation titles that blend manual effort with automation will find the described systems align closely with that preference. The single shared vault in co-op keeps the focus on teamwork rather than competition.
