Mika's Drug of Happiness is a business simulation adventure game set on PC. Players control Mika, an immortal traveler who arrives in the human world with the goal of spreading happiness through a special concoction she calls her drugs of happiness.
Gameplay
The core loop centers on production and distribution. Players create batches of the concoction and sell them to residents of Sodomia. As more people consume the product and report greater happiness, the town unlocks additional events that expand available activities and interactions. Mika operates her business directly in the kingdom, balancing supply efforts with opportunities to observe the effects on the population. The process involves managing resources to increase circulation while maintaining steady output. Progression ties directly to the growing number of satisfied customers, which in turn opens new story beats and business options within the same location.
Game Modes
The game runs as a single-player experience with no separate multiplayer or competitive modes. All activity occurs within one continuous campaign that combines business management tasks with narrative advancement. Players advance by scaling production and sales, which gradually alters the town's state and reveals more of the central story through character encounters. There are no distinct difficulty settings or alternate play styles listed beyond the standard progression path.
Story and Characters
Mika originates from a distant land and views her mission as a positive act for humanity, even though her immortal nature prevents her from fully grasping mortal perspectives. She remains committed to the task regardless. In Sodomia she forms connections with human residents, including Rafa, who excels at crafting and assists with the initial creation of the drugs. Rafa shows interest in testing the effects on others but seeks to avoid direct responsibility. These relationships allow Mika to witness the outcomes of her work firsthand while the story explores the gap between her intentions and the realities of human response. The narrative unfolds through business milestones rather than separate chapters.
Is It Worth Playing?
The game targets players who enjoy business simulation combined with adventure elements and character-driven progression. It features a focused single-player structure centered on production, sales, and gradual town changes. Because the title remains in wishlist stage with a release date still to be announced, no player reviews or ratings exist yet. Those interested in management loops that tie directly into story events may find the described systems appealing once it launches. Availability will include the Steam version alongside an adult edition on other platforms, though the core mechanics stay consistent across releases. Prospective buyers should monitor official updates for the final launch details and pricing.
