What if nature's most vulnerable creatures became its greatest heroes?
For as long as anyone can remember, mice have lived at the bottom of the food chain, burrowed away from the hawks, snakes and worse that roam the land of Roden. Then one day, deep underground, a discovery changed everything. Now the mice have technology, and the bravest of them strap themselves into armour built from scrap and dynamo gears and head out to protect the weak. They are the Mech Mice, and they are about to meet an enemy no one saw coming.
A story-driven tactics campaign
While on a routine desert patrol, Blaze and Flank are ambushed by an army of mechanical bugs. Fight your way through two chapters of hand-crafted missions, uncover who is building the bugs and why, and send Dusty deep behind enemy lines on a rescue that reveals a secret that could doom all of Roden.Build your squad
- Blaze the eager grunt, Flank the heavy gunner, Dusty the stealthy recon scout, Torq the engineer, Petra the medic, Lefty the grenadier and Turner, the old commander of the Roughtails.
- Each mouse has their own weapon and special abilities: Doom Spin, Stealth, Repair, Heal, Decoy, Defensive Stance and more.
- Climb into Betsay, the squad's mech, and turn the tide of battle.
Turn-based battles on hex maps
- Every mouse has action points to spend on moving, shooting, using switches and specials, so every turn is a puzzle.
- Use line of sight, height and stealth to slip past patrols or set up the perfect ambush.
- Between battles, explore freely: walk the squad anywhere until the bugs spot you, then it's turn by turn.
Bugs, bosses and needlessly huge explosions
- Face scuttling bugs big and small, burrowing worms and towering bosses.
- Blast through cactus, crates and barricades: almost everything breaks.
Made for every kind of screen
- Plays with a mouse, a trackpad or a touchscreen.
- Graphics settings from Low to High, with soft shadows and depth of field
