Lucky Anvil is a single-player strategy game that blends indie and casual elements on PC. Players craft one weapon across a full run and use it to descend through a mine filled with fights and bosses. Gameplay
The weapon sits on an anvil with four lines. Each line carries an element such as Fire, Frost, Storm or Venom and a tier from 1 to 5 that contributes Might. Higher tiers can earn stars that add Fury. Players draw a hand of orbs each fight and apply them directly. A Spark adds a new line. A Tumble rerolls unclamped lines. A Hone upgrades one line by a tier. A Hex applies a risk that shows its exact odds before the roll. Lines combine into Sets such as Pair, Trio, Ladder, Rainbow, Crown and Mythic, each granting extra Might and Fury that appear on plates before a Strike. The final Hit equals Might multiplied by Fury, and three Strikes are available against each target.
Before striking, players can Clamp lines to protect them from later changes. Every orb displays its odds when relevant, and the entire run uses a seed that produces identical results for anyone who types the same code. Coals on the anvil light up after low rolls, and four lit coals improve the next outcome. The system keeps every probability readable at all times.
A run covers eight Depths. Each Depth presents a full map where players choose paths through regular fights, tougher Foremen that offer charms, Ore Veins that grant free orbs, a Smelter that refines one line at no cost, printed-choice events and Tinsel's Stall. The boss waits at the bottom of the eighth Depth. Fifteen bosses each display their next move in advance, such as dropping a line tier, cracking a line, silencing an element, removing an orb or adding armor. One Strike removes at most half a boss health bar, so every duel requires at least two Strikes and players always see the second move.
Game Modes
The main experience consists of runs that last roughly 45 minutes at normal speed, with optional 2x and 4x speed settings. After each boss players select one of three Hallmarks. The forge then cools, resetting every line to tier 1 while preserving elements and stars. Cracked lines remain cracked. Charms and Hallmarks carry forward, turning each Depth into a fresh rebuild around the carried upgrades.
The Daily Anvil assigns the same weapon, Heat level and seed to every player each day. Only the first attempt counts toward the leaderboard, and a share link copies the result for others to view. Breaking the Depth 8 boss opens Endless mode, where the run continues beyond the final boss. Any seed can be typed manually to replay a specific mine using only the content unlocked at the start of that run.
Weapons and Upgrades
Five weapons exist, each with its own starting pouch and three Reforge capstones. The Sword serves as the baseline. The Bow receives four Strikes per turn. The Staff draws a larger hand of orbs. The Axe uses only three lines. The Hammer prevents Tumbles from lowering any tier. Completing a run with a weapon raises its Heat level, up to eight total. Each new Heat level adds one extra rule on top of all previous ones.
Tinsel's Stall appears on every map and sells orbs, 51 charms that alter rules, Hallmarks that strengthen Sets, Pommel Loops that add charm slots and Reforges that advance the weapon along three paths until the next forge cool. Stock refreshes when the bell is rung or when an unwanted orb is melted. At the final stall of each Depth the shopkeeper gives a direct hint on how to defeat the boss below.
Twenty-six unlocks expand the pool of weapons, orbs and charms without adding raw power. The Smithy Wall records every orb, charm, boss and Set encountered, along with exact rules and boss move order. It also tracks best Hits per weapon, wins at each Heat level and the last fifty runs with their seeds. Finished weapons can be saved as image cards.
