IMMISCERE is a free to play single player RPG adventure set during a Halloween gathering. Players step into the role of an attendee at a neighborhood party that quickly reveals layers of mystery and tension. The experience centers on personal choices that shape the outcome across five distinct endings, all within a compact runtime of roughly one to two hours.
Gameplay
The core loop revolves around exploration and decision making at the party venue. Hand drawn CG illustrations depict key scenes and characters, supporting the narrative progression through conversations and environmental details. Players navigate social interactions and unexpected events, with each choice influencing the direction of the story and leading toward one of the available conclusions. The design emphasizes short sessions where replaying different paths reveals new developments and consequences.
Game Modes
IMMISCERE offers a single player campaign focused on narrative branching. There are no separate multiplayer or competitive modes. The structure encourages multiple playthroughs to uncover all five endings, with the short length making it straightforward to experience the variations in one or two sittings.
Story and Atmosphere
The setting draws from a casual autumn party that shifts into a mystery thriller tone. Background elements highlight the seasonal Halloween context, while mature themes include disturbing imagery, violence, strong language, and other unsettling content. The hand drawn visuals contribute to a personal, creator driven presentation that aligns with the intimate scale of the adventure.
Is It Worth Playing?
IMMISCERE suits players seeking a brief, choice driven narrative experience with multiple endings. Its compact format and focus on story outcomes make it accessible for those interested in short RPG adventures. As a free to play title still listed as coming soon, it provides an entry point for fans of mystery thrillers without requiring a long commitment. The emphasis on hand drawn art and player decisions offers a distinct alternative to longer open world titles in the genre.
