How This Game Began
The beginning of Red Chamber Chronicle was surprisingly simple.
From the very first day until now, this game has been developed entirely by me alone.
I am currently a university student. During my second year, I found myself feeling uncertain about my future and disconnected from my studies. I simply had the thought that perhaps I should try creating something I genuinely cared about.
That idea eventually led me to game development.
Without a mentor, without a team, and without a detailed plan, I began learning and building little by little.
Over time, this project became more than a game. It became something that helped me move through a difficult and uncertain period of life. The more I built, the more focused I became. Eventually, I found myself completely immersed in creating this world.
While reading novels, I became fascinated by fan interpretations of Dream of the Red Chamber. Many people loved these characters and stories, yet very few games truly allowed players to step inside that world.
So I asked myself:
Could the Red Chamber become more than a book?
Could it become a world where people can live, choose, and change their fate?
That simple question became the foundation of this project.

I am not a professional developer, nor did I begin with years of experience.
My development process has largely been:
