Dusk Survivors is a post-apocalyptic urban tower defense game. The entire city has been submerged by floods of unknown contamination, and nearly everyone has mutated into zombies. You need to navigate the city using various waterborne vehicles. During the day, you must manage your time wisely—whether it's recruiting survivors, building defensive structures, or upgrading ship-mounted weapons—to fend off zombie attacks at dusk and ultimately lead the survivors to safety.
1. Recruiting Survivors
Every day, you will encounter different survivors. They may either come directly to your camp ready to join you or appear somewhere in the city. Usually, it’s difficult to keep all of them, so you’ll need to manage your time wisely to make the right choices among them.
2. Building Defensive Structures
Constructing defensive structures is a crucial task, as they play a vital role in effectively fending off zombie attacks.
3. Upgrading Ship-Mounted Weapons
You can equip your ship with new weapons or enhance existing ones. Of course, it’s important to consider the unique characteristics of each weapon, as they all have their own attributes.
4. Fending Off Zombie Attacks
At dusk each day, zombies may attack from one or two directions. We must defend our camp effectively when the zombies launch their assault.
5. Constructing New Buildings on Strongholds
There are many different strongholds scattered throughout the city. Building various structures on them can significantly enhance our capabilities.
6. Exploring New Unknown Areas
At dusk each day, the attacking zombies will grow in numbers and strength. We need to expand to more strongholds to enhance our capabilities. When venturing into a new unknown area, we must prioritize safety, as the noise from weapon attacks may attract more zombies from the surroundings.
7. Daily Events
Every day, various events may occur in the city. We can head over to investigate and see what’s happening.
