WE ASKED AI TO END DISEASE. IT REWROTE US.
Humanity pushed artificial intelligence to rewrite DNA and eradicate disease. Instead, it unleashed biological and technological horrors. Our greatest achievement became our newest parasite.
Die Hand Gottes is a survival thriller JRPG where military firepower meets supernatural power and every battle puts your build to the test.
Play as Gottes Riordan, drawn home by a desperate letter from his sister. Follow her trail through rain-soaked forests, deserted streets, underground caverns, and abandoned research facilities in a city overwhelmed by man's own creations spun out of control. Meet a rich cast in an emotional story that will stay with you long after you have finished it. Confront grotesque mutations, malfunctioning machines, and everything in between as you fight toward the tower where it all began.
KEEP MOVING. MAKE YOUR ACTION COUNT.
Battles unfold where you stand. Reposition while your action gauge fills, judge your weapon’s reach, and choose when to shoot, heal or unleash a Gift. Your next action could turn the fight. Getting cornered could end it.
FOUR WEAPONS. YOUR LOADOUT.
Prepare your primary, heavy, sidearm and melee slots for what lies ahead. Bring a tactical warbow, equip a sniper rifle, or keep a shotgun ready for something that gets too close. Changing weapons takes an action. Choose your moment.
CHOOSE YOUR GIFTS.
Shape Gottes through a branching Gift tree built around meaningful choices. Develop physical offense, destructive Knowledge, survival or hybrid abilities. Combine gunfire with flame, lightning, healing and protection. You can learn anything, but you cannot learn everything. Decide what your survival depends on.
MAKE YOUR EQUIPMENT YOUR OWN.
Use the powerful M.A.N.T.I.S. to fit compatible optics, muzzle devices, magazines and other attachments to your weapons. See those parts mounted on the gun you carry. Equip camo, tactical vests, armor pads, helmets, and more that appear on Gottes in the world.
RETURN TO THE FEAR OF THE LATE ’90s.
Cinematic fixed cameras. Majestic landscapes and dark tunnels. Rain against the windows and something moving beyond the flashlight. Explore a world of supernatural mysteries, unsettling discoveries and monstrous boss encounters, with RPG progression at the heart of the nightmare.
Eve reached for one fruit. We fed a machine the whole tree. What could go wrong?
