Curling Together is a sports simulation game focused on the strategic ice sport of curling. Available on PC, it delivers a detailed 3D experience where players throw stones, direct sweeps, and manage team tactics to win matches. The title supports both solo play and shared sessions, allowing participants to build skills through structured progression or compete directly with others.
Gameplay
The core loop centers on precise stone delivery and team coordination. Players aim shots by adjusting curl direction, timing the release with a visual bar, and controlling sweeps to influence stone speed and path. Sweep commands respond to either voice input or standard controller inputs, creating responsive feedback during each end. An interactive tutorial guides newcomers through rules and basic tactics via hands-on missions, building familiarity before competitive play begins.
Customization extends to individual athletes, with options for facial features, hair, beards, and uniforms. Athletes improve through training sessions that raise attributes, while contracts and seasonal tracking add layers to long-term development. The system rewards consistent performance across matches, encouraging players to refine positioning and strategy over time.
Game Modes
Standard competition follows official curling formats with 4-player teams or mixed doubles. Each match unfolds across multiple ends, where teams alternate throws and use sweeps to secure stones closer to the button than opponents. The simulation emphasizes realistic physics and tactical decision-making, such as guarding stones or executing takeouts.
Career progression forms a major pillar, starting at club level and advancing through national leagues in more than 20 countries. Players navigate cups and world championships while managing team roles and contracts. This structure provides a clear path from beginner to top competitor, with season-by-season growth tracking progress.
Multiplayer Options
Cooperative elements allow friends to join an online career mode, sharing responsibilities across matches. Local split-screen supports couch play for up to the required team sizes. Proximity voice chat integrates directly into sessions, enabling real-time strategy calls without leaving the game interface. These features suit both casual groups and dedicated teams seeking synchronized play.
Controller support covers major platforms including Xbox and PlayStation devices, ensuring accessible input across setups. A replay system lets players review key shots to analyze technique and refine future attempts.
