After defeating the final boss and reaching dawn, players mount their horse for a post-dawn ride. Weapons continue firing automatically, allowing players to trample remaining enemies and finish optional objectives or collect chests without an extraction timer. Runs end by leaving through the eastern road or the mine's timbered exit.
Additional rulesets include Hardcore, Self-made, and Hellbound challenges that can combine with the base experience. Six independent save slots support multiple concurrent runs, and an unfinished run can be suspended and resumed later. Input supports automatic or manual aim, with remappable controls and options for keyboard, controller, or auto modes.
Progression and Customization
Camp disciplines refund points spent on permanent upgrades, encouraging experimentation across runs. Five cosmetic rewards, such as Midnight Dusters or flaming and spectral hoofprints, provide visual variety without affecting gameplay. Accessibility options cover separate volume controls, optional screen shake, reduced visual effects, and night lighting adjustments.
