Build a car empire from a single factory. Design and manufacture cars, open dealerships, and win over customers across decades of automotive history - all while three rival companies fight you for every sale. Can you turn one plant into an industry giant?
Boardroom & Chassis puts you in charge of every decision that turns a struggling startup into a household name. Price too high and your rivals steal the showroom floor. Cut corners and your reputation follows you for years. Compete honestly on quality and price - or play dirty and tear your rivals down from the inside. Every month, the market is watching, and so is the competition.
Build the Machine
Open factories, staff them, and set your production budget to keep the line moving. Fund your engineering team to research and develop new models, and roll out fresh designs as the years tick by. How much you invest in R&D, labor, and sales is up to you - and so are the consequences.
Win the Customer
Stock your dealerships and set your prices, then watch the city decide. Shoppers weigh what you charge against what you've earned - a strong reputation and solid warranties pull buyers through the door, while a bad name sends them straight to a rival's lot. Chase everyday customers or land big fleet contracts for bulk deliveries that can make a quarter.
Keep Them Loyal
Open garages to service the cars you sell, back them with warranties, and turn one-time buyers into lifelong customers. Goodwill is hard won and easily lost - your reputation is an asset as real as any factory.
Run the Numbers
This is a business, and the books don't lie. Track your cash, gross receipts, net worth, and capacity month to month. Take out bank loans to fund expansion, manage the interest, and pay them down before they sink you. Balance ambition against the balance sheet - overreach and the bank comes calling.
Outplay Three Rivals
You're not alone in this market. Three AI-run companies are building, pricing, and competing for the same customers you are. Every sale you win is one they lose. Read their moves, undercut them, out-engineer them, and fight your way to the top of the industry.
Steal Their Secrets
Can't out-engineer a rival? Steal their work instead. Send operatives to lift a competitor's engine, chassis, body, or interior designs and drop the blueprints straight into your own catalog. Choose your operative carefully - higher success costs more - and watch your back, because rivals can infiltrate your research division too.
Sabotage the Competition
When the gloves come off, hit them where it hurts. Shut down a rival's factory, cancel their advertising, disrupt a dealership, block them from an auction, or spread rumors that wreck their reputation. Every operation is a gamble of cost against odds - and the AI plays just as dirty, so stay ready.
Play the Market
Put your profits to work on the stock market. Trade shares in banks, suppliers, ad agencies, and the big customers that drive the industry. Prices move with the economy and with real business activity, so a well-timed investment - or getting in ahead of a deal you're about to make - can pay off as big as any car you sell.
Across the Decades
Start in the 1940s and grow your company through the eras, with period-appropriate cars filling the streets of a living city. The market changes with the times - and the empire you build is the one you leave behind.
The factory floor is yours. The showroom is open. The competition is already moving.
Will you build the empire - or watch someone else drive off with it?
