Gameplay
Combat occurs in real time across thirteen distinct zones, each featuring unique creatures, a boss encounter, its own loot table, and a separate atmosphere. Active participation is required throughout, with players managing gear and personal progression to advance. Exploration proceeds either act by act or at an individual pace, allowing flexibility in how the corrupted world is traversed.
Thirteen crafting professions support gathering and creation up to level 120. Gathering professions include mining, fishing, herbalism, and arboristry. Crafting professions cover foundry work, jewelry, shaping, scribing, alchemy, cooking, tanning, weaving, and butchery. Each requires direct clicks, ingredient combination, and completion of mini-games to advance along individual progression trees.
The Soul Tree serves as a permanent talent system. Souls collected from defeated enemies are invested here to build lasting improvements that carry forward. Fourteen familiars can be unlocked by defeating creatures and bosses, with four legendary variants reserved for dedicated play. More than seven hundred unique items appear through discovery, crafting, and equipping.
