Every fight is a duel
- Three directions. Strike and block from the left, from the right and from above. Watch his blade and guard the side the blow comes from.
- Posture. Every block, parry and blow wears down a fighter's guard, yours as well as his. Break his guard, read how he stands, and strike where he lies open.
- The perfect parry. Meet the blow at the very moment it lands: it costs you nothing and cracks his guard.
- Weight. Lock on, circle, choose your moment. A heavy blow can throw you off your feet.
- Wounds. Blades leave their marks where they land.
